Linocut and collage, depicting a view not far from the Pacific Crest Trail in Central Oregon. As an avid trail runner and connoisseur of nature, I notice birdhouses occasionally. These symbols of new life in the midst of the devastation caused by wildfires to me is a poetic and wonderful sight to see. The symbol of home also is my recognition that humans and animals share the same bed, and we need to learn to share our world more harmoniously.
